What are the new requirements for obtaining a baton permit starting January 1, 2024?

Applicants must submit a complete application and fee directly to the Bureau.
All baton permits will expire and need to be renewed every two years.
Both initial and renewal applicants must complete a baton training course at a licensed Baton Training Facility.
A baton permit can be associated with a Private Patrol Operator licensee.
Active-Duty Peace Officers have specified training exemptions.
